Fort Lauderdale Strikers
Two lineages have carried the Strikers name. The NASL franchise began as the Washington Darts in 1970, became the Miami Gatos and then the Miami Toros, played in Fort Lauderdale from 1977 to 1983 and finished as the Minnesota Strikers. Miami FC of the revived NASL took the name in 2011. Both are filed here.
