STARTERSRight off the bat, Leander Schaerlaeckens at ESPN Soccernet did not deserve to be slagged off by me yesterday in my rant against his employer. He has done nothing wrong at all, and is most likely a really nice guy. I apologize for that. I took my frustrations out on him, over my belief that ESPN is patronizing soccer in America. Schaerlaeckens is just doing his job. (FYI - I took the whole rant off the site.)BOB BRADLEY WATCHThe rumor mill said Bob was looking to buy a new pair of slacks today. We here at du Nord wish him all the best with the selection process and know he will look good in whatever style he chooses.CONCACAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUEThe Group Stage is underway. 2 groups of 4 with everyone playing the others in their group home and away for a total of 6 games.
