STARTERS For the first time in 2012 Kansas City is not in first place in the East. Its New York. dN Herculez Gomez came on as a 2nd half sub and helped his team score goals in the 87th and 90th min to advance to the Mexican Primera finals this week. A HUGE comeback for Santos Laguna who had been 2 goals down early. -SL are the higher seed in the final series against Monterrey with games on the road Wednesday and at home on Saturday. -SL and Mon finished the Clausura regular season seeded #1 and #2 respectively, so its fitting that they meet in the title series. -SL and Mon played just 2 weeks ago in the CONCACAF Champions League final with Monterrey won. dN Manchester City joins the ranks of teams who have bought a championship. If that is not a tainted trophy then I don't know what is, and I would not be as proud of my beloved team.
