Cleetus felt he was fouled by NE defender Avery John but no call was made, so Cleetus became a vigilante and charged at John like a drunken rhino, then threw a nice hearty body check and a wicked elbow to wipe John off his feet. Out comes the red card, and off you go sunny. Mathis's teammate Mike Petke got a yellow card on the play for arguing with the referee, presumably about the non-call against John a few seconds earlier.
