-As I was watching Wigan v Man City on Monday I wondered to myself why Claudio Reyna was subbed off in the 65th minute. I know they brought in Andy Cole for more offense, but Reyna is a guy who can do great things at both ends of the pitch. The only thing I figured out was that with 4 games in 6 days the coach wanted to rest him with the team trailing 4-1. Then yesterday I saw Man City again, this time v Chelsea and Reyna is not on the pitch at all. I think to myself, this is not good. Something is wrong. Sure enough, I go to Yanks Abroad and what do I see: Reyna diagnosed with ankle fracture. Oh, damn it all anyway. The injury occurred nearly 2 months ago v The Arse, when he went off with that knee & ankle injury and missed a month. They thought he was healed, but obviously not. He will have surgery on it, and could be out 2 months or more. Good luck Claudio. By the way, Chelsea won 1-0.-Liverpool has won 9 in a row in the EPL.
