Like I said yesterday, the sheer amount of stories on the web concerning the USA and all of the World Cup is frankly overwhelming. It is glorious to see, but impossible to keep up with. I suggest you take a little time to do some websurfing on your own, and have some fun. If you stumble on something worth sharing please let me know.-Related to this are all the stories I read that keep saying the USA isn't really "into soccer and the World Cup". Well let me state that if that is the case, then the internet will explode, crumble and die if the USA ever decides to "get into" the beautiful game in a big way.~ ~ ~ ~The obviously brilliant Justin Fox of Fortune magazine has a new piece online today for CNN Money looking at the World Cup and Team USA's rise to their current level, from an economic point of view. We can tell the author is a genius by the time we get to the second paragraph as he makes proud reference to this very blog, du Nord. Thanks Justin.
