It's Day 218 of 2016. Its official, Fabian Castillo has left Dallas with a deal in place to begin his career in Turkey at Trabzonspor. The waiting was the hardest part. Apparently its a loan deal until Jan 1 and then Trabzon must buy or return the used goods. Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo gives his (unhappy) side of the story. In the past 2 days Spanish ownership has severed relations with American business partners in the club and then cleaned out some of the coaches and staff. Head coach Alen Marcina resigned and has been replaced by Vallecano assistant Gerard Nus. The club management is now engaged is massive cost cutting. The mother club in Madrid was relegated from La Liga at the end of last season and is in an overall cost cutting mode. Rumors of player revolt swirled, but as of now that has not happened.
