-I hope you all had a nice day off yesterday celebrating with Togo on their national holiday that was called after qualifying for the World cup. I sure did. This is how the whole world should be run. Win a game, get a day off.-From USA Today: The U.S. men's national team will make Hamburg its home base for the 2006 World Cup that runs from June 9 to July 9 at 12 sites in Germany. Hamburg is Germany's second largest city (1.7 million) and a transportation hub with top-flight training facilities and accommodations. Hamburg is the northern-most competition site.-Post Game Quotes from USA coaches and players on the 2-0 win over Panama last night. It was nice to see Taylor Twellman finally get his first Team USA goal. And of course US Soccer gives us more of that great insider video they have been providing. The attendance in Boston was a pathetic 9,192.-With all the madness I have been living I somehow missed the updates for Copa Sudamericana.
