It's Day 209 of 2016. One day after firing the only head coach they have ever had in MLS the Seattle Sounders signed 27 year old Uruguayan attacking midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro from Boca Juniors. This guy has one helluva resume. Before Boca he played for Corinthians, Botafogo, Ajax and Montevideo Nacional. The club also said that they have another key player signing to announce later in the week. Seattle sits 11 points away from a playoff spot with 14 games left to play. Making the playoffs is their priority but that is a very very tall order.
